Season Guidelines Summary

The following is a condensed summary of current season guidelines. For the full, authoritative rules please refer to the Rules and Regulations PDF above.

  1. 1.Each membership is allowed a bag limit of two trophy bucks.
  2. 2.No limit on does per membership while doe tags remain available.
  3. 3.MLDP Permits must be secured to every harvested deer before leaving the property.
  4. 4.Every buck must receive a Boone & Crockett score from a designated club scorer.
  5. 5.Buck photos and scores must be submitted by February 15 each year.
  6. 6.Each member receives ten (10) guest passes per season.
  7. 7.No hunting guests during the first six days of deer and squirrel season.
  8. 8.Remove and tag each jawbone using the metal tags that correlate with the Harvest Record Book.
  9. 9.Hunt safely and be a good sportsman.

Penalties for Non-Compliance

  1. 1. For any buck determined to be under age: $250 fine and loss of buck hunting privilege for the remainder of the season. An appeals policy is in place for disputed ages.
  2. 2. Two under-aged harvest mistakes within a three-year period will result in a board review of membership status.
  3. 3. Failure to record dressed weight, antler measurements, B&C score, or submit a jawbone by the February 15 deadline: $250 fine.
