Renfro Hunting Club was established in 1945
and is one of the largest blue chip hunting leases owned by Temple-Inland,
Inc. It encompasses 14, 172 acres and is roughly divided in half
by FM 1818 just east of FM 58. The club has both pine plantations
and hardwood bottoms. There are two large creeks and many smaller
feeder creeks running through it as well as a few ponds and flooded
bottoms. Renfro Hunting Club is a free range club that believes in
deer management. Currently Renfro Hunting Club is registered with
Texas Parks and Wildlife as a MLD Level 3 hunting club. A designated
weigh station and camping area exists
for the use of our members and access to the hunting club is allowed
year
round.
Renfro
Hunting Club endorses
good, ethical hunting practices and fosters a family based atmosphere.
